WILMINGTON, N.C. – The Wichita State men's tennis team dropped their second game to the New Mexico Lobos this season on Wednesday afternoon with a 4-0 loss at UNC-Wilmington's University Courts.

With the loss, the Shockers (3-12) have lost four in a row and New Mexico (8-5) breaks their three-match losing streak with the win.

After playing a very close doubles point back on February 16, the Lobos left no doubt thie second time around, snatching the opening point from the Shockers with a pair of 6-2 wins at courts one and two.

In singles, New Mexico established the tone early with a 6-4, 6-1 win over
Richey King at court six.Â

Ziwen Ju would be defeated next at court five, 6-1, 6-2.

Misha Kvantaliani was the last to fall, losing 6-4, 6-3 in a tight match at court one, giving the Lobos the 4-0 win.Â

The Shockers will take on the challenge of the 71st ranked William & Mary Tribe tomorrow at 2:30 PM Central to close out action in Wilmington.
