AUBURN, Ala – The Wichita State men's golf team continues their spring campaign on March 11 when they travel to Auburn, Alabama and Auburn University Club to compete in the Tiger Invitational, hosted by the #2 ranked Auburn Tigers.
 
Head Coach Judd Easterling is looking forward to the competition this week in the Heart of Dixie.
 
"The vibe with the team overall has been great in qualifying," said Easterling. "The guys are playing good, and we're excited to get down there and get to competing."
 
The Shockers are looking to continue to build off a strong performance in their spring opening tournament last month in Cancun, Mexico.
 
"I was pleased with our performance in Cancun," said Easterling. "Mike and Blake played really well and led our guys to the finish."
 
The Shocker lineup returns four of five Shockers from the Cancun trip with Lucas Scheufler joining the lineup for the first time since October 3rd in the Big O Classic. 
 
The tournament field in Alabama is the strongest the Shockers have faced so far this year. Over half of the tournament field is ranked in the top-100, including host Auburn,x who is ranked #2.
