Economon is entering her seventh season with the Shockers. Wichita State went 44-12 last season, won the American Athletic Conference regular-season title and played in an NCAA regional for a third straight season and the fourth time in the past five.
The Shockers
open 2024 on Friday in Huntsville, Texas vs. Stephen F. Austin (10:30 a.m.) and Sam Houston (3:30) in the Bearkat Classic. They also play Sam Houston and UNLV over the weekend.
