Regine Feilmeier Tennis Complex, the new home of Wichita State tennis and the why the Wichita tennis community is also an important part of the picture. On Tuesday, ground was broken on the development.
Cornejo and Cozine discuss how an empty plot of land became the future site of the tennis facility and more. We talk about how the project will help Wichita State, their connections to the university and why the Feilmeier family is a perfect namesake.
The complex is part of the "Ignite at K-96" athletic complex on the southeast side of the K-96 and Greenwich corridor. The complex will feature 12 outdoor and six indoor courts, first-class team accommodations and a spectator capacity of 1,500.
