STILLWATER, Okla. – The Wichita State men's tennis team was swept 7-0 on Sunday afternoon by the 23rd ranked Oklahoma State Cowboys at Greenwood Tennis Center.

The Shockers (2-8) see their losing streak increase to five games, while No. 23 Oklahoma State (11-2) has now won seven in a row.

Doubles was close, but the Cowboys would ultimately prevail with wins at court one over
Misha Kvantaliani and
Richey King, 6-4, and at court two over
Vanja Hodzic and
Alejandro Jacome, 6-2.

In singles, Jacome would fall first at court one to No. 15 ranked Tyler Zink, 6-3, 6-3.

Luke Bracks fell next at court five, 6-1, 6-1.

Outright victory was clinched for Oklahoma State with a win over
Marcelo Sepulveda at court four, 6-2, 6-3.

Ziwen Ju fell at court six in a pair of 6-3 defeats and
Vanja Hodzic would lose a close one at court three, 7-6 (1), 6-4, making it 6-0 Cowboys.

Misha Kvantaliani's match at court two was an incredibly tight battle. Playing against OSU's No. 49 ranked Alex Garcia, Kvantaliani lost the first set 6-3, before battling back to win the second set, 6-3, and force a decisive third set. The duo would go back and forth, before ending up tied 6-6 and moving into a tiebreak. The tiebreak was close throughout, but Garcia would prevail, winning the break, 8-6 to take the match.

The Shockers will reup and refocus as they will head to Denver, Colorado, and the University of Denver for a match with the Montana Grizzlies on March 2 at 1:00 PM.
