WICHITA, Kan. - Wichita State softball has added a pair of midweek games to the schedule, including a home game vs. Iowa next Wednesday, head coach
Kristi Bredbenner announced Tuesday morning.
Wichita State will host the Iowa Hawkeyes for its home opener on Wednesday, Feb. 28 at 1:00 p.m. at Wilkins Stadium. This game will be included in the season ticket package.
Additionally, the Shockers will travel to Commerce, Texas on April 24 to face Texas A&M Commerce at 2:00 p.m., before a weekend series at North Texas, April 26-28.
Wichita State has already had four games canceled due to weather through the first two weeks of the season. The Shockers are in the process of filling a few more open dates here in the coming weeks to replace the lost games to weather.
