Sarah Bertry led the Shockers in their final race of the season at the NCAA Midwest Regional Friday morning at Newman Golf Course.

In his first career 10K race, redshirt-junior Kidane ran 30:19.5 to finish 34
th, leading the Wichita State men to a 14
th-place team finish, their fifth-straight top-15 regional team finish.

Adrian Diaz Lopez finished not far behind in 40
th with a time of 30:29.52, and redshirt-junior
Cesar Ramirez (92
nd; 31:09.1), redshirt-freshman
Colin Graham (112
th; 31:31.9), and redshirt-sophomore
Aidan Reyna (129
th; 31:53.5) rounded out the scoring for the Shocker men.

The NCAA Midwest Regional wraps up the 2024 cross country season for the Shockers as they look ahead to the 2024-25 indoor track and field season, beginning with the Shocker Multi and Intrasquad from Dec. 4-6, followed by the KU-KSU-WSU Triangular on Jan. 17.
