WICHITA, Kan. - Wichita State head women's basketball coach Terry Nooner and Director of Athletics Kevin Saal announced a home-and-home series with Missouri State for the next two seasons.

Wichita State will travel to Springfield during the 2023-24 season and host the Lady Bears in Charles Koch Arena in 2024-25. Game dates will be announced when the full non-conference schedule is revealed.

The former Missouri Valley Conference rivals have a rich series history that dates back to 1976. In fact from 1976-2019, the two programs met at least once every year. This will be the first regular season matchup since 2019.

Missouri State leads the all-time series, 51-37.
