TULSA, Okla. – The Wichita State men's tennis team looks to get back in the win column with Friday's 11 a.m. match against No. 57 Tulsa at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.

State of the Shockers
The Shockers are on a four-match losing streak and have only claimed one road victory.

Wichita State has yet to pull out a win over a ranked team, though it has come close with two tough 4-3 losses to No. 53 Florida Atlantic and No. 74 Drake.

Alejandro Jacome leads the team in singles wins with a 12-5 record since joining the team in January, playing across courts two through four.

Last match out, the Shockers shook up the doubles lineup, with
Alex Richards and
Luke Bracks moving to court one, but the duo has yet to find its groove. Richards is 7-4 in doubles when partnered with
Kristof Minarik.
Misha Kvantaliani and
Orel Ovil have played 19 of the 21 matches together at court two and also hold a 7-4 record.

Scouting Tulsa
The Shockers are 22-19 against the Golden Hurricane, but Tulsa has won the last three straight, most recently defeating the Shockers 4-0 in Wichita last season.

The Golden Hurricane has not picked up a win over a ranked team in nine tries.

Tulsa is led by No. 28-ranked Kody Pearson, who is 9-4 at No. 1 singles and 5-1 against nationally-ranked players. Pearson has teamed up with Connor Di Marco at No. 1 doubles for a 7-8 record.
