OPENING TIPS
• Wichita State hosts Omaha for the teams' third-ever meeting and first in Charles Koch Arena Monday evening for Doughnut Day, where the first 200 fans get free doughnuts.
• Wichita State is 0-2 all-time vs. Omaha, falling 72-67 in overtime a season ago in Omaha.
• This is Wichita State's first appearance in the Myrtle Beach Invitational. The Shockers are 20-21 in Multi-Team Events since 2007 and 81-71 all time.
• Wichita State is 5-6 all time when playing on Nov. 20.
Tre'Zure Jobe is averaging 15 points and 2.3 steals through the first three games of her first Division I season after averaging 18.8 points per game at Emporia State.
Daniela Abies is the team's leading rebounder, averaging 6.3 rebounds per game, nearing a double-double at Belmont with 11 points and 8 rebounds.
• Wichita State is 1-0 in games it won the rebounding battle.
• Wichita State ranks 33rd nationally in turnover margin (7.7) and 54th in turnovers forced per game (21.3).
• The Shockers are ranked third in the American Athletic Conference in turnovers and turnover margin.
• First-year head coach Terry Nooner has only one returning starter, DJ McCarty.
• Wichita State returns just 34.7 percent of its scoring from a season ago, having lost its top two leading scorers and three other triple-digit point scorers. Trajata Colbert and Curtessia Dean exhausted their eligibility, and three of the top six scorers departed through the transfer portal.
• Wichita State has only two true freshmen on the roster in Salese Blow (Texas) and Sophia Goncalves (California).
Sierra Morrow has yet to make her Shocker debut as she awaits the NCAA's decision on her transfer waiver.

SCOUTING OMAHA
• Led by fourth-year head coach Carrie Banks, Omaha (1-3) is coming off an 82-70 loss to Northern Colorado, its second-straight loss after falling 87-69 at Northwestern.
• Three Mavericks scored in double digits in the last outing with Grace Cave pacing the team with 19 points.
• Banks has 30 wins in four seasons at Omaha, sixth-most in school history.
• Through the first four games of the season, Lucy Ghaigan and Katie Keitges are averaging a team-high 9.5 points per game.
• Cora Olsen is the team's leading rebounder, averaging 5 rebounds per game.
• Omaha was picked sixth of nine teams in the Summit League preseason poll.
• The Mavericks currrently tie for last place in their conference standings at 1-3.

ALL-TIME SERIES VS. OMAHA
• Omaha leads the all-time series, 2-0, dating back to 1978.
• Omaha won the first-ever meeting 90-68 on Nov. 24, 1978 at the Missouri State Tournament in Springfield, Mo.
• Wichita State fell in overtime on the road a season ago, 72-67.

NON-CONFERENCE NOTABLES
• Wichita State faces three first-time foes in the non-conference docket, Presbyterian, Belmont and Dayton.
• The Shockers opened their season against No. 23 Oklahoma and will face a Kansas team which is receiving votes int he 

LAST TIME OUT
• The Shockers fell 75-67 to Belmont, dropping their second road contest of the year. Three Shockers finished in double figures with Tre'Zure Jobe leading the way with 16 points and 2 steals, as DJ McCarty had 13 points and 2 steals, and Daniela Abies put up 11 points and 8 rebounds.
• Wichita State won the turnover battle for the third-straight game, forcing 21, committing 14, and scoring 23 points off turnovers.
• Wichita State scored 17 second-chance points off 12 offensive rebounds with five of those offensive rebounds coming from Abies as she led the team in rebounding for the second time this season.
• Freshman Salese Blow got her first collegiate start and tallied 8 points and 2 steals.
