Box Score DES MOINES, Iowa – The Wichita State men's tennis team lost 4-3 to Western Michigan Saturday in Des Moines, Iowa.
 
The Shockers got off to a good start with doubles wins at courts one and two to earn the doubles point and go up 1-0 going into singles.
 
Luka Mrsic snagged a quick singles win for the Shockers at No. 3 and Nicolas Acevedo followed close behind with a straight-sets victory at No. 2. Wichita State then dropped the next three singles matches at one, four and six, and Ray Lo battled it out in the third set at No. 5, but the Broncos clinched the match.
 
The Shockers have a chance to split the weekend with a win over Drake. The match is set for Sunday at 1 p.m.
