WICHITA, Kan. - Junior guard DJ McCarty picked up her second American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll selection of the season, it was announced Monday afternoon.

McCarty averaged 18.0 points, 3.5 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 2.0 steals in Wichita State's two wins last week over Denver and New Orleans. 

The DeSoto, Texas, native opened the week vs. Denver, going a perfect 8-for-8 from the floor, finishing with a team-high 19 points. She also added five assists and a pair of steals. In Saturday's win over New Orleans, McCarty scored 10 of her 17 points in the fourth quarter to go with seven rebounds, five assists and two steals. McCarty has reached double figures in each of the last three games, and has multiple steals in all but two games this season.

This is the second honor roll selection this season and fourth of her career.
