Makhi Myles has signed a National Letter of Intent to play basketball at Wichita State.
Â
The 6-foot-6 guard is the No. 2 rated high school recruit in the state of Mississippi, per 247Sports. He chose the Shockers over offers from Creighton, Missouri, Mississippi and hometown Mississippi State.
Â
Myles averaged 24 points, 11 rebounds and four blocks as a junior while earning all-state honors. His Starkville High team opens the year ranked third in Class 6A (Mississippi's largest division).
Â
"Makhi is a long, athletic wing with a high basketball IQ and a winning pedigree," WSU head coach
Isaac Brown said. "He has the tools to be a big-time defender, and he can really shoot the ball. I can't wait to get him on campus."
