Wichita State softball head coach Kristi Bredbenner announced seven fall exhibition contests at Wilkins Stadium, beginning in September.

The Shockers are coming off one of the best seasons in school history, featuring 41 wins, a sweep of the American Athletic Conference Championships and the program's second NCAA Regional final appearance.

Wichita State kicks off the fall ball slate on Sunday, Sept. 19 vs. Pittsburg State at 1 p.m. Following a matchup with Southern Nazarene (Sept. 24), the Shockers welcome Kansas to Wilkins Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 25 for a Noon first pitch.

The fall scrimmages wrap up with contests against Seminole State (Oct. 6), Central Oklahoma (Oct. 8), Emporia State (Oct. 9) and Fort Hays State (Oct. 17).

All fall home contests will be played at Wilkins Stadium and consist of 10 inning games. Admission to all games will be $5 and fans can purchase tickets at the gate.
