STILLWATER, Okla. - Wichita State women's tennis failed to beat No. 42 Oklahoma State and lost its first match of a road trip, 4-0, at the Greenwood Tennis Center on Friday.
 
Doubles
The only win in doubles came courtesy of senior duo Marta Bellucco and Sarvinoz Saidhujaeva when the beat the top OSU duo of Alana Wolfberg/Lenka Stara, 6-3.
 
Singles
The Shockers couldn't keep up in doubles and lost the first three courses to end the match. Alexandra Lazarova was able to force a tiebreak in the frist set at No. 6, but she couldn't win the 16-point marathon and finished the match versus Medvedva unfinished, 7-6 (9-7), 1-0. Natsumi Kurahashi was able to force a third set just as the match clinched versus Detkovskaya, 6-4, 3-6.

The Shockers have one more match this weekend when they travel to Memphis, Tenn. on April 11 to face the Tigers at 10:00 a.m., at the Dunavant-Wellford Tennis Center.
