WICHITA, Kan. - Sophomore DJ McCarty claimed a spot on the final American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll Friday afternoon.

The DeSoto, Texas, native scored a career-high 20 points on 7-of-14 shooting and grabbed seven rebounds in the regular season finale at Tulsa Tuesday night. McCarty scored 14 of her team-high 20 points in the first half to help the Shockers take a seven-point lead into halftime.

McCarty and the Shockers open American Athletic Conference Championship play Monday, March 8 vs. Tulsa at 1:30 p.m. CT on ESPN+.
