WICHITA, Kan. - Wichita State women's tennis won their second match in a row by downing DePaul on Senior Day, 5-2, at the Coleman Tennis Complex on Wednesday afternoon.
 
Doubles
The Shockers played with passion at the top of the doubles lineup. The top duo of Sarvinoz Saidhujaeva and Marta Bellucco evened the point after the three's fell with a 6-4 result. Jessie Zheng and Ting-ya Hsu once again clinched the doubles point with a win on line two over Depaul's Jovicic/Kuzmenkova, 6-4.
 
Singles
Marta Bellucco was in fine form today and dominated in her match on court two over DePaul's Kuzmenkova, 6-2, 6-0 The bottom of the lineup delivered for the Shockers in the match, with Alexandra Lazarova (7-6 (10-8), 6-3) and Jessie Zheng (6-1, 3-6, 6-2) winning to give the Shockers the match win.
 
Natsumi Kurahashi also found herself in the win column today with a three-set win over the Blue Demons' Kizelbasheva, 7-6 (8-6), 1-6, 6-2. Ting-ya Hsu found herself down 5-0 in the third set, but she managed to fight all the way back and force a tiebreak. She wasn't able to pull off the reverse sweep and fell, 6-4, 2-6, 7-6 (7-5).
