WICHITA, Kan. – Wichita State baseball student-athlete
Paxton Wallace has been named to the American Athletic Conference Honor Roll for the week of Feb. 22-28.

Wallace, a junior infielder from Greenbrier, Ark., hit .556 with 10 hits, 11 RBI, a double, a triple, two home runs and two stolen bases in four games last week for the Shockers.

In the series victory over SIUE, Wallace hit .615 with eight hits in 13 at bats. In the win on Friday, he had a career day, going a career-best 3-for-4 with two home runs and a career-high seven RBI. That was the highest individual RBI total in a game since 2012.

On Saturday, he had three hits with a double and two RBI and in the series finale on Sunday, he had two hits, a triple and two RBI.

Earlier in the week against Oklahoma State, he collected two hits and a pair of stolen bases.

Wallace and the Shockers are next in action on Tue., March 2 at Oral Roberts at 3 p.m.
