WICHITA, Kan. - Wichita State men's tennis heads off to Dallas to play a last-minute match against Texas Tech at 4:00 p.m., at the SMU Tennis Complex on Sunday.
Shocker Notables
- The senior duo of Marius Frosa and Murkel Dellien came in at No. 32 in the ITA Preseason Doubles Rankings. This is their third straight, and 12th overall, appearance in the rankings. The duo is 2-2 on the season.
- Frosa and Ray Lo pace the Shockers in singles win with six each. Frosa has played at No. 1 and 2, and his only losses are against No. 49 Vocel of Oklahoma State and Denver's No. 1. Lo has wins at 4, 5, and 6 and won the Shockers only point against Oklahoma State.
- Luka Mrsic and Stefan Latinovic only have one loss as a doubles pair and picked up a win over No. 23 Oklahoma's Mandilik/Hotard.
Scouting the Competition
Texas Tech
- The Red Raiders are 2-2 on the year, but they have been ravaged by cancellations. They last played on Feb. 6 when they lost to Tulsa, 5-2. Both of their wins came in a doubleheader versus Abilene Christian.
- The Shockers have yet to beat Texas Tech in seven tries. They last played in 2017.
