WICHITA, Kan. - Shocker women's tennis begins their home schedule tomorrow when they face Newman at 11 a.m., at the Wichita Country Club. No fans will be allowed to attend the match.
 
Shocker Notables

• The senior duo of Marta Bellucco and Sarvinoz Saidhujaeva came in at No. 23 in the ITA Preseason Doubles Rankings. This is their fourth straight appearance in the rankings and highest appearance yet.  They won their first match of the season against Missouri State, 6-3.
• Jie Xin Zheng, a freshman from Taiwan who only stepped onto campus last week, won her first two matches as a Shocker last week versus Missouri State. She paired up with senior Ting-ya Hsu for a 6-4 doubles win in the second spot. In singles, Zheng was lined up at four and won in straight sets, 6-3, 6-4.
• The Shockers have not played the Jets since the 2008-09 season in a 7-0 win. This will only be the second meeting between the two Wichita colleges.

The Shockers face Iowa State on Friday at noon and Louisville on Sunday at 9:00 a.m., at the Wichita Country Club. Fans will not be admitted to any matches hosted at the Wichita Country Club.
