WICHITA, Kan. – Wichita State sophomore setter
Kayce Litzau was named to the American Weekly Honor Roll after a pair of career performances vs. East Carolina and Cincinnati, the AAC announced Monday.

Litzau guided the Shockers to two come-from-behind wins, both in five sets. The versatile sophomore set a new career-high in kills both matches, picking up six on Friday night against East Carolina and then topping that with seven more on Sunday against Cincinnati, including the clinching kill in the fourth set.

She handed out 54 assists in Friday's comeback win against the Pirates, then added 43 more against the Bearcats for a total of 97 on the weekend. Over her last six matches, Litzau is averaging 10.78 assists per set, moving her up to fourth in the conference with 9.77 per set for the season.

Litzau also set a new career-best on Sunday with 19 digs after racking up 11 against East Carolina. The native of Greendale, Wisconsin has now recorded nine double-doubles, and ranks 18th in the American with 2.61 digs per set.

Litzau posted a .409 set percentage on Friday and .341 on Sunday.

The Shockers return to action on Wednesday night at Tulsa. First serve is scheduled for 6:00 PM and can be streamed live on ESPN+.
