Box Score DES MOINES, Iowa – The Wichita State men's tennis team picked up six wins at the Bulldog Cup in Des Moines, Iowa over the weekend. 
 
"It was a great opportunity for the guys this past weekend to play a lot of competitive matches," assistant coach Brett Forman said. "They saw what they need to work on in order to take a step in their games, and they're eager to get back to practice and work on those things."
 
Jackie Lin won three out of four singles matches against Drake and NIU opponents and teamed up with Alex Richards on day three for a doubles victory over Mikko Malinen and Victor Spolidorio of Drake.
 
Zach Grueber also picked up a pair of singles wins for the Shockers in the first two days of the tournament, defeating NIU's Christopher Knutson and Armin Koschtojan.
 
The Shockers take the court Thursday, Oct. 21 for the ITA Central Regional Championship in Lincoln, Neb.
