Box Score DALLAS - Shocker men's tennis ended its weekend in Dallas and doubled their record by beating Utah, 5-2, at the SMU Tennis Center on Sunday.

Doubles
The Shockers won the doubles point with victories on 1 and 2. Nicoals Acevedo and Orel Ovil quickly dispatched the Utah second pair, 6-2. In their first match as the top pairing, Stefan Latinovic and Luka Mrsic were in a hard-fought battle against Utah. The duo was forced to play to a tiebreak, and they edged out Utah, 7-6 (7-3), to secure the doubles point
 
Singles
A switch at the top of the pairings highlighted the only change to the lineup for the Shockers. Latinovic was moved to the second spot and beat Utah's Shainyan with ease, 6-3, 6-3. With a move to the top spot, Frosa continued his good form and won against Utah's Capalbo in a three-set affair, 6-7 (7-5), 6-1, 6-2.
 
The lower section of the parings continued to contribute to the scoreboard for the Shockers. Yi Jui Lo got behind early, but rallied to beat Gavelin, 3-6, 6-1, 6-2, and Mrsic dropped a tight second set and won a convincing third set, 6-4, 5-7, 6-2.
 
The two Shokcer losses came in back-and-forth three set matches. Acevedo won the first set, but dropped the next two to lose, 3-6, 6-4, 6-3, while Ovil was broken in a third-set tiebreak, 6-3, 5-7, 7-6 (8-6.)
