DES MOINES, Iowa – Four members of the Wichita State men's tennis team are prepared to begin play at the Drake Invitational today held at the Roger Knapp Tennis Center in Des Moines, Iowa.

The invitational is scheduled for Friday, Sep. 20 – Sunday Sep. 22. Sophomores
Stefan Latinovic and
Orel Ovil will be joined by freshmen
Zach Grueber and
Alex Richards who will get their first action as Shockers.
Â
The Invitational will be divided into five singles flights, and five doubles flights.
Â
In singles flight A, Latnovic will face off against Nicholas Campbell from Creighton University, and Ovil will start his tournament against Andrea Zamurri of Northwest Missouri State University.

Beginning their collegiate tennis careers, Grueber will play David Pata of Northern Illinois University, and Richards will face off with Fabien Calloud of NWMSU in singles flight B.

To conclude the weekend, Richards and Greuber will team up in doubles flight A, where they are matched up with Abdoul Outtara and Davis Lawley of the University of Nebraska Omaha, while Ovil and Latinovic will play in doubles flight B against the duo of Pata and Bor Schweiger Muzar from NIU.

Play is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. on Friday, and 9 a.m. on both Saturday and Sunday.
