The Roundhouse podcast continues its men's basketball flashback series with a look at the 2012 victory over Creighton in Omaha.

Paul Suellentrop and Bob Hull discuss that 89-68 win at CenturyLink Center. Joe Ragland led the Shockers with 24 points and Ben Smith added 22, in addition to leading the defensive effort on Creighton star Doug McDermott.

Wichita State's guards dominated the game and the Shockers shot 58.2 percent from the field, leading to frustration on the Bluejays bench with their defensive effort. The Shockers held an excellent offensive team to 5-of-23 shooting from three-point range and won in Omaha for a second straight season after losing 17 straight on Creighton's home court.

That victory may have been the 2012 team's best performance and highlighted an 8-0 February that wrapped up the program's first MVC title since 2006.

The Roundhouse podcast, joined by Mike Kennedy, will look at games from the past over the next two months.

Next week: Wichita State 76, No. 1 Gonzaga 70 in Salt Lake City, 2012-13 NCAA Tournament
