Keitha Adams and the Women's Basketball Coaches Association are teaming up to host one of seven regional coaching clinics on Saturday, Oct. 6 in Charles Koch Arena.
The WBCA Coaches' Classroom: Regional Whiteboard Series will launch in seven locations around the U.S. Open to coaches at every level of women's and girls' basketball, these clinics are outstanding opportunities to learn from some of the top coaches in the country and network with colleagues from your area. Admission is
free and registration opens at 8 a.m. with the event running from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The deadline to register for the event is
Tuesday, Oct. 2.
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn not only from Adams, but University of Alabama assistant coach Brooks Williams, Emporia State University head coach Toby Wynn, Derby High School head coach Jodie Karsak and 2008 NJCAA Women's Basketball Hall of Fame inductee Lin Laursen (Central Arizona College).
Wichita State opens its season with an exhibition tune-up on Thursday, Nov. 1 vs. Missouri Southern State, before officially kicking off the season on Wednesday, Nov. 7 vs. Arkansas Pine Bluff in Charles Koch Arena.
