TULSA, Okla. – Eddie Stoica collected a third round victory as three Shockers wrapped up pre-qualifying play Sunday at the ITA All-American Championships in Tulsa.
 
Stoica joined Murkel Dellien and Andrea Caligiana in third round play, where he recorded the lone victory for the Shockers, taking down Hunter Tubert of Ohio State in straight sets. The senior rolled in the first set (6-1) before winning three-straight games in the second set down 4-5 to win the set (7-5) and the match, 6-1, 7-5.
 
Stoica took on Columbia's Ryan Pandole in the Round of 32 with a spot in the qualifying round on the line. After falling behind 3-0 in the first, Stoica rallied to cut the deficit to 4-3. Pandole went on to win the set, 6-4. Stoica gained an early advantage in the second set (2-1) before Pandole won five-straight to take the match (6-4, 6-2).
 
Caligiana took on (9-16) Collin Markes in the Round of 64, falling in straight sets (6-2, 6-3). Dellien battled it out with Matthew Terry of Cleveland State in a three-set match. After rolling in the first (6-2), Terry rallied to take the second set 7-5 and force a decisive third. The two trading games and breaks, before Terry came out ahead 7-5 to take the match.
 
Qualifying begins tomorrow at the ITA All-Americans, with Haru Inoue and Marius Frosa from WSU receiving bids. Action will begin at 8 a.m. at the Case Tennis Center and Union High. Draws will be released later tonight.
