WICHITA, Kan. - Senior forward
Sabrina Lozada-Cabbage has been named to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll, it was announced Monday afternoon.
The Santa Fe, N.M., native led the Shockers to a pair of wins to open the season, averaging 17.0 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.0 steals per game, while shooting 68.4 percent from the field.
In the season-opener vs. Arkansas-Pine Bluff, she recorded a career-high 21 points in only 17 minutes. She was 9-for-13 from the field and also added six rebounds. Lozada-Cabbage finished the week with 13 points in the overtime win vs. Missouri State.
Lozada-Cabbage and the Shockers are back in the Roundhouse Wednesday night vs. Sam Houston State at 6:30 p.m.
