STOCKTON, Calif. - The Wichita State men's tennis team swept UT Arlington, 4-0, this morning at the Eve Zimmerman Tennis Center, and the scheduled 3:30 match against Cal Poly was delayed.
Against UT Arlington,
Haru Inoue (6-4, 6-3),
Miroslav Herzan (4-6, 6-2, 6-4),
Marius Frosa (7-5, 6-3) and
Murkel Dellien (6-0, 6-2) all picked up wins for the Shockers.
Jocelyn Devilliers and
Eddie Stoica did not finish their matches. There is no doubles play at the Invitational, unless a match is tied at 3-3.
WSU is now at the .500 mark with the win, improving to 5-5 this year.
The Shockers will face Cal Poly tomorrow morning at 9 a.m., and then will play in the championship or a consolation match later in the afternoon.
