PEORIA, Ill. -- Sabrina Lozada-Cabbage collected her first double-double of the season with a career-high 13 points and 17 rebounds to lead Wichita State to a 76-69 win Sunday afternoon at Bradley.
The Shockers had four other players in double-figure scoring with Lozada-Cabbage, as
Angiee Tompkins had 18 points,
Jeliah Preston added 15,
Aundra Stovall scored 14, and
Tamara Lee joined in with ten.
Vanessa Markert had 16 points for the Braves.
WSU out-shot the Braves, 46.7 percent (28-60) to 42.4 (25-59) form the field, and had seven treys to the BU's three. At the line BU made 16-of-24 free throws to the Shockers' 13-of-15. BU out-boarded WSU 39-31.

Rangie Bessard missed the game with an injury she sustained in Friday's game at Illinois State, while starting point guard
Keke Thompson missed her third-straight game with injury.
Tompkins scored the first two baskets of the third quarter to stretch the Shocker lead to 43-35 at 8:52, the largest for WSU at the time. BU's scoring drought and scoreless period ended at 8:33 with an Anneke Schlueter bucket after a 13-0 Shocker run, to put the score at 43-37. A minute later, WSU had its largest lead at 10 after a Stovall layup at 7:16.
WSU out-scored the Braves 21-18 in the third quarter, led by 10 points from Tompkins which included two three-pointers. The Shockers held a 59-53 lead at the end of the third.
In the fourth, the Shockers kept the Braves at a six-point distance until after the five minute mark when the Braves turned missed WSU shots into baskets the last at 4:14 that cut the lead to 67-65. That was as close as the Braves would get as WSU out-scored BU 11-4 over remainder of the game.
To open the game, Bradley jumped out to a 7-0 lead before WSU got on the board at the 7:44 mark with a jumper by Lozada-Cabbage. Later, she added two more buckets to cut BU's lead to 10-6 at the 5:04 mark.
Preston was the next Shocker to score with a free throw and back-to-back baskets - with the last one being a three-pointer at the 2:31 mark - to keep the Shockers close, 15-12. After a Bradley free throw,
Angiee Tompkins got on the board for WSU with a bucket at 1:16, to complete the first-quarter scoring, 16-14 in favor of the Braves.
In the second quarter, Lozada-Cabbage hit a three to give WSU its first lead of the game, 17-16, at 9:37. The lead would change six more times over the remainder of the second period, helped by Preston's seven points in the frame. Each team picked up the offensive pace in the second quarter, with WSU out-scoring the Braves 24-19, including a 9-0 run over the last 5:20.
For the half, Preston led WSU with 13 points while Lozada-Cabbage backed her with nine points. Markert led the Braves with 14 points. BU out-boarded the Shockers 22-13 in the first half, but the Shockers forced 12 BU turnovers while only giving the ball up six times.
Wichita State is next in action 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 24 at home against Loyola. At 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 26, the Shockers then play host to Indiana State.
