TAMPA, Fla. – No. 21 Wichita State hit .420 on the way to a 3-0 win at USF. The Shockers (20-3, 12-0) won by scores of 25-11, 25-12 and 25-18.
WSU has now won 20 or more matches for 15-straight years.
Abbie Lehman led the Shockers with 11 kills and seven blocks and hit .625, while
Mikaela Raudsepp had 10 kills and hit .500.
Emily Hiebert had 30 assists and
Giorgia Civita had 11 digs.
SET 1:
• WSU ran away with the first set 25-11
• The Shockers raced out to a 6-1 lead, but the Bulls closed it to 9-7 after a couple of WSU hitting errors
• Kills from Lehman and Koon gave WSU a 12-7 lead and kills from Lehman and Hiebert pushed it to 17-10
• The Shockers ended the set on an 8-0 run for the 25-11 win

• The Shockers jumped out to an early 7-1 lead in the second set
• A 5-0 Shocker run increased the lead to 19-7
• WSU reached set point on a Lehman kill at 24-9 and won the set 25-12 on a USF hitting error
SET 3:
• WSU won the match with a 25-18 win in the third set
• Four-straight points from
Alex Koon, two solo blocks and two kills, gave WSU an 8-0 lead
• Kills from Brown and Raudsepp and a block from Raudsepp and Smith increased the lead to 15-4
• USF used a 4-0 run to pull within 20-12, but the Shockers went on to win the set 25-18
