ARLINGTON, Texas - Wichita State finished its two-match road trip in Texas with a 4-2 defeat at UT Arlington Saturday afternoon at the UTA Tennis Center.

WSU dropped to 9-8 on the season, while UT Arlington improved to 10-5.

UT Arlington won the doubles point with wins at No. 2 and No. 3. Tin Ostojic and Jocelyn Devilliers registered a 6-3 win at No. 1 for WSU over Carlos Arbiza and Pablo Colvee.

In singles play, the Shockers collected wins at No. 1 and No. 6. Ostojic won in straight sets over Guanarteme Nuez, 6-2, 6-0, while Eddie Stoica defeated Ion Efrim, 6-1, 7-6.

The Mavericks clinched the win with singles victories at Nos. 2, 3 and 5.
