A three-time All-American at WSU. Named All-American in the 1996 and 1998 outdoor NCAA championships in the hammer. Won every hammer event she entered in the 1996 season except the U.S. Olympic Trials and the NCAA Championship. Finished third at the 1996 U.S. Olympic Trials and eighth at the 1996 NCAA championships. Redshirted in 1997. Named Indoor All-American by finishing fifth in the 20-lb weight throw at the 1998 NCAA Indoor championships. Broke her own school record in the 20-lb weight throw with a 65-9 throw. Broke her own school record in 1998 in the hammer with a throw of 200-9. Automatic qualifier for the 1998 Outdoor Championship in the hammer where she finished fourth. Two-time Valley champion in the Hammer and 1996 Valley Champion in the 20-lb weight throw. Also named the Valley's 1996 Women's Field Athlete of the Year and and in 1998 was the Valley Women's Outdoor Most Valuable Field Athlete...At the time of her induction she also held the discus record of 153-1. A native of Garden Plain, she transferred to WSU from Johnson County Community College where she was an All-American in the hammer throw... She is a member of the NJCAA Hall of Fame, and held the NJCAA meet record in the hammer at the time of her induction. Inducted, 2005.
