They also have a .973 fielding percentage. Leading the way offensively is Isaac Smith who is hitting .367 with four doubles, one triple, four home runs, 20 RBI and 10 stolen bases. BU is led by head coach Elvis Dominguez.

Last Meeting vs. BU
The last meeting between the two teams was a three-game series in Wichita, May 2-4, 2014. The Shockers swept the series by scores of 4-3, 7-0 and 8-4. Casey Gillaspie went 6-for-10 with two home runs to lead the Shockers. Aaron LaBrie, Cale Elam and Foster Vielock each earned a win.
Multi-Home Run Games
Wichita State has three players that have hit two home runs in a game this season. Bob Arens, Gunnar Troutwine and Ryan Tinkham have each hit two in a game in 2015. The last time the Shockers had three different players with a multi-home run game was 2010 when Cody Lassley, Johnny Coy and Bret Bascue each had a two-homer game.
Tinkham's Hitting Streak
Junior Ryan Tinkham is currently on a career-best 15-game hitting streak. During the streak, he is hitting .466 (27-for-58) with seven doubles, five home runs, 11 RBI, 10 walks and two stolen bases.
Troutwine Has Career Day
Freshman catcher Gunnar Troutwine had a career day on Saturday against Illinois State. He went 4-for-5 with five RBI and two home runs. They were the first home runs of his career and the four hits and five RBI were also career highs.
Hilliard on a Roll
Junior Sam Hilliard had his career-best 10-game hitting streak snapped on Tuesday at Kansas State. During the streak, he hit .425 (17-for-40) with two doubles, two home runs, 17 RBI, three walks and two stolen bases. Hilliard has also found a home in the Shocker bullpen. In three relief appearances this season, he has thrown 9.1 innings and has a 2.89 ERA and nine strikeouts.
