PEORIA, Ill. – Wichita State hit .412 on the way to a 3-0 win at Bradley. The Shockers won by scores of 25-16, 25-18 and 25-10.
Mikaela Raudsepp led the Shockers with 10 kills, while
Emily Hiebert had 29 assists and
Dani Mostrom had 10 digs.
The Shockers jumped out to a quick 7-2 lead in the first set. A kill by
Shimen Fayad increased the lead to 16-9 and a kill by Hiebert put WSU up 21-11. WSU won the set 25-16 on a kill from Raudsepp.
Hiebert served the Shockers to a 4-0 lead in the second set. The Braves pulled to within 16-13, but a Hiebert service ace gave WSU a 20-14 lead. The Shockers went on to win the set 25-18 on a Hiebert kill.
A kill by Raudsepp gave WSU a 13-5 lead in the third set and a kill from
Abbie Lehman increased the lead to 18-7. WSU won the set 25-10.
The Shockers are next in action on Fri., Nov. 20 when they host Southern Illinois at 7 p.m. inside Charles Koch Arena.
