TULSA, Okla. – The Wichita State men's tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision Friday evening to No. 37 Tulsa at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.
The Shockers grabbed the early upper hand, winning the doubles point. The team of Tomislav Gregurovic and Tin Ostojic posted a 6-2 win at the No. 1 spot, and Jocelyn Devilliers teamed with Miroslav Herzan for a 6-4 win in the No. 3 position.
Tulsa reversed the momentum with a strong singles performance, sweeping all six matches.
Herzan went three sets at No. 5 before bowing to Mitchell Pritchard, 6-2, 1-6, 6-3. The other five wrapped up in just two sets.
Tin Ostojic suffered his first singles loss of the spring at the No. 1 spot, losing two closely contested sets to Or Ram-Harel, 6-4, 7-6.
