Shockers, 4-2 in the semifinals of the 2011 Boise State Spring Break Classic. Only singles matches were played since the tournament was moved indoors due to the weather.
Matheus Pereira defeated Scott Sears 6-2,
2-6, 6-4 in a tight No. 4 match and Valentin Mihai defeated Jeff Mullen 6-4,
6-4 for the two Shockers victories.
Wichita State will face St. Mary's
this afternoon in a 3rd/4th place match at 5 p.m. central
time.
