Cedar Falls, Iowa - Toure' Murry scored 15 points and grabbed nine rebounds as the Wichita State Shockers defeated the Northern Iowa Panthers, 73-55 at the McCleod Center on Saturday night.

Ben Smith scored ten points off the bench for the Shockers (21-5, 11-3) and Graham Hatch added thirteen points.

Northern Iowa (18-9, 9-6) was led in scoring by Kwadzo Ahelegbe, who had 15 points.

WSU shot 30-of-52 (57.7%) from the field and held Northern Iowa to 16-of-51 (31.6%) shooting.

The Shockers outrebounded the Panthers 37-23 and committed only nine turnovers. 

Next action for the Shockers will be Tuesday night when they travel to Evansville to take on the Purple Aces.  Tip off is set for 7:05 p.m. and you can watch it on Kansas-22.
