Wichita State (26-5) travels to Lincoln, Neb., for the 2007 NCAA Tournament First/Second Rounds, Nov. 30-Dec. 1. The Shockers take on Western Kentucky (27-8) at 4:30 p.m. on Friday at the NU Coliseum. Nebraska (27-1), the No. 2 national seed, takes on South Dakota State (25-10) at 7 p.m. The winners of each match play at 5 p.m. on Saturday.
The match will be broadcast live on KNSS 1330 AM with Mike Kennedy calling the action. If the Shockers and Nebraska advance to Saturday, the match will be shown live on Kansas Now 22 at 5 p.m.
The Shockers are making their second-ever trip to the NCAA Tournament and their first as an at-large team. WSU won the MVC Tournament in 2004 and played in Lincoln, Neb., and defeated Nevada in the first round before falling to Nebraska in the second round.
