2024-25 (Senior):
Appeared in 28 games, making 20 starts... Missed five games with a toe injury... Finished third on the team in scoring (10.2 ppg) and assists (78)... Had 15 games with 10 or more points - all before February when he went out with a toe injury... Totaled 18 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists at Tulsa (Jan. 26)... Scored 13 of his 16 points in the second half vs. East Carolina (Jan. 18) to go with a season-high tying 6 assists... Game-high 25 points in the conference opener at Temple (Jan. 3) to go with 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals... Tallied consecutive 12-point games on 4-of-10 shooting at DePaul (Dec. 14) and vs. Kansas City (Dec. 17)... Second 20-point game of the season came vs. ETSU (Dec. 7) when he finished with a team-high 20 points... 2022-24 (Georgia):
Hill started appeared in 37 games, making three starts for Georgia in 2023-24 and posted 9.5 points and 3.2 assists per game on 37.9 percent shooting... He had 17 games of 10 or more points, including a season-high 21 vs. Wake Forest in the second round of the NIT... Hill helped lead the Bulldogs the NIT Semifinals before falling to the eventual champions, Seton Hall... As a junior he averaged 8.6 points and 2.7 assists in all 32 games... He’s scored more than 1,000 career points after averaging 12.7 per game in two seasons at Longwood... Hill was named to the All-Big South First Team in 2022 and the Big South All-Freshman Team in 2021.
2020-22 (Longwood):
Logged action in 58 games over two seasons, averaging 12.7 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.2 steals... Tallied 738 points, 262 boards, 214 assists and 71 steals for the Lancers... Produced career highs of 29 points, 10 rebounds (twice), 11 assists, four steals (twice) and 41 minutes... Posted 36 double-figure scoring outputs, including eight 20-point performances... Notched a pair of double-digit rebound counts – resulting in one double-double – and one double-figure assist output... Earned Big South accolades during both seasons, securing a spot of the All-Freshman team in 2021 and following that with first-team All-Big South honors in 2022... Tabbed as the state’s No. 21 prospect by the Texas Basketball Review and a finalist for the 2020 Guy Lewis Award as the Greater Houston Area Boys Player of the Year... Tabbed 6A All-State by the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches (TABC) as a senior... A three-time all-district selection and the 2020 District 20-6A Player of the Year... As a senior, averaged 24.0 points, 7.0 boards, 4.0 assists and 3.0 steals per game for Fort Bend Travis, which finished 31-7, claimed the district title and won two playoff games before the season was cancelled... Helped Fort Bend Travis go 20-14 as a junior and 20-13 and reach the second round of the 6A state playoffs as a sophomore.
Personal:
Born October 19, 2001, Justin is the son of Keith and Donna Hill.. Both of Justin’s parents were standout college basketball players – Keith at Michigan State (1985-86) and New Mexico State (1986-90) where he scored a combined 1,203 points and Donna (the former Donna Holt) at Virginia (1984-88) where she was MVP of the 1987 ACC Tournament, 1988 ACC Player of the Year, has a retired jersey (No. 11) and was named to the ACC’s Silver Anniversary team in 2002... In addition, his older brother, Cameron, was an NAIA All-American in basketball at SWAGU (Southwestern Assemblies of God University) and his younger brother, Ryan, who currently plays junior college hoops at the University of Arkansas - Cossatot.
