Graduated from Marshalltown High School in Marshalltown, Iowa...Lettered four years in volleyball, three years in softball and three years in track...In volleyball, named a captain, a unanimous first team all-conference selection, an elite six in the CIML conference, all-state class 4A third team and all-area Player-of-the-Year during senior season...During junior season, named unanimous first team all-conference and all-state class 4A honorable mention...During sophomore season, named first team all-conference and to the 4A west all-district team....Member of team that finished second in the conference during freshman, sophomore and junior seasons and first in the conference during senior season...In track, finished seventh at state in the high jump in 2007 and eighth in 2009...Also finished 15th at state in the 4x100 m relay and 4x200 m relay and 20th in the 4x400 m relay in 2009 and earned MVP honors...In softball, named to the all-state, all-district and all-area teams...Member of the National Honor Society, graduated with honors and earned the Rotary Youth Leadership Award.
