2022-23 (Graduate):
Played the majority of the year at No. 1 singles while wrapping up her graduate degree in sport management… Posted a 4.0 GPA during the fall semester to earn a spot on the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll and was named to CSC’s Academic All-District Team… Went 11-17 in singles… Was 8-13 in singles duals (3-10 at No. 1, 2-1 at No. 2 and 3-2 at No. 3)… Notched wins at No. 1 singles and No. 2 doubles to key a Mar. 10 road win at No. 49 Nebraska (4-3)... Played all 27 of her doubles matches with Natsumi Kurahashi and went 15-12 with a run to the doubles quarterfinals at the ITA Central Region Championships… 11-6 in doubles duals (3-3 at No. 1, 8-3 at No. 2).
2021-22 (Graduate):
Returned to WSU after a one-year absence due to the COVID-19 pandemic and provided steady production at the top of the lineup... Was 12-15 in singles (4-12 in duals) while playing mostly at No. 2... Shared the team lead with 14 doubles wins, going 9-7 in duals and 14-11 overall... Partnered with Jessie Zheng for the first time on April 1 and the pair ripped off four-straight wins at No. 1 doubles to finish out the season... In the Fall, earned an at-large bid to the main draw at the ITA Central Region Championship in advanced to the Round of 64... Swept all three matches at No. 1 singles to win the unofficial title at the Shocker Classic (Oct. 8-9)... Went 5-4 in Fall doubles matches... Partnered with Vitalia Stamat to reach the Round of 16 at the ITA Central Regional Championship, defeating teams from South Dakota and Minnesota along the way... Qualified for the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll (3.0+ semester GPA) in both semesters... Made the ITA Scholar-Athlete team (3.50+ GPA during the academic year) for the second time.
2019-20 (Junior)
Went 14-14 in singles… Participated in 16 of WSU’s spring 17 dual matches and compiled a 7-9 record… Saw time at each of the top-4 spots in the singles lineup… Started the year at No. 3 but climbed to the top of the order after a four-match winning streak in mid-February… Was a combined 9-13 in doubles, including 6-4 while playing alongside Ting-Ya Hsu… Teamed up with Esther Thebault for a 6-4 win over K-State 54th-ranked duo of Margot Decker and Anna Turco (Jan. 31)… ITA Scholar-Athlete.
2018-19 (Sophomore):
Joined the team for the start of the spring semester… Excelled in doubles with a 13-4 record… Was 12-4 alongside Ting-Ya Tsu (3-0 at No. 2, 9-4 at No. 3), including five-straight wins in late March and early April… Put together a 6-8 singles record while playing primarily at the No. 4 spot… Came from behind to earn her first career win on Feb. 16 over Louisville’s Nikolina Jokic (4-6, 6-1, 7-5)...Ended the season with three-straight wins.

Born April 8, 1998 in GuangZhou, China... Daughter of Yanqiu Cao and Haitao Kong... Attended Secondary School at Guangdong Institute of Sports Technology in GuangZhou... Currently pursuing a masters degree in Sport Management.
