Eva Castiglioni

  • Title
    Volunteer Assistant Coach
Eva Castiglioni is in her second season as volunteer assistant coach for the Wichita State women's tennis team.

The Madrid native works full time at Genesis Rock Road where she serves as Junior Tennis Director.

“Eva has a diverse coaching background and brings a fresh voice and an infectious energy to our program," head coach Colin Foster said. "She has a keen eye for the technical, tactical, and mental facets of the game and communicating necessary adjustments to our players. And does it all with a passion and authenticity that keeps the game fun for everyone.”

Castiglioni is fluent in three different languages: French, Spanish and English. She graduated Cum Laude from Young Harris College in 2017 with a degree in business administration and public policy and a minor in sport science. She went on to complete her MBA at Cameron University in 2019, while also serving as the women's tennis program's graduate assistant.

In two seasons at Division II Cameron (2017-19), Castiglioni helped the Aggies to a top-20 national ranking. She coached regional champions in both singles and doubles and four of her players earned All-Lone Star Conference status.

Castiglioni played No. 1 singles for two years at Young Harris -- a Division II program located in northern Georgia -- and helped the Mountain Lions climb as high as No. 34 in the ITA team rankings. Despite playing just two seasons, she finished among the program's NCAA era top-10 in career singles (30) and doubles (29) wins.

Castiglioni started her career at the Division I level at Nicholls State University where she helped her team achieve a No. 72 national ranking.
