Biography

As a Sophomore (2006-07)
Played in 27 games for the Shockers in 2006-07 with three starts, the first starts of her career... Averaged 7.3 minutes per game... Shot better than 41 percent from the field and a team-best 45.7 percent from three-point range, which would have ranked second among MVC players and fourth nationally if she met the minimum for attempts... Averaged 2.3 points per game in conference action, while shooting better than 42 percent from long range... Scored a career-best 14 points and played a career-high 22 minutes against Southern Illinois (D28)... Led the team in scoring once, paced by a personal-best four three-pointers against SIU... Tied a career-high with two rebounds in a game three times, the last coming at Creighton (J27)... Scored 50th career point against SIU and recorded first career block at Bradley (F17).

As a Freshman (2005-06)
Played in 15 games for the Shockers, averaging five minutes per game spending time at both the point and shooting guard... Averaged 1.8 points and 0.7 rebounds per contest... Shot 40 percent from the field, including a .455 clip from three-point range... Also recorded six assists and three steals... Scored a season-high six points against Arkansas-Pine Bluff (N23)... Pulled down a season-high two rebounds at Indiana State (J20)... Named to the Missouri Valley Conference Honor Roll for the 2005-06 academic year... Recipient of the Coaches’ Award at the annual postseason banquet... Named to the AD’s Honor Roll for both the Fall 2005 and Spring 2006 semesters and the Dean’s Honor Roll in Spring 2006.

In High School
Attended Randolph-Blue Valley High School in Randolph, Kan... Lettered four years each in volleyball, basketball and track under head coach Mike Teeter... Averaged 19.9 points per game in high school, along with 5.0 rebounds 2.5 assists and 2.5 steals per contest... Helped lead team to a 13-8 record as a senior, and was a member of the sub-state runner-up team as a sophomore... Named to the all-TVL first team three consecutive seasons... Helped guide team to a regional runner-up finish as a junior... Scored a career-high 30 points in a game twice, and also posted single-game career highs of 12 rebounds and 10 assists... A two-time all-Flint Hills first team selection... Named an honorable mention selection to the Topeka Capital and Wichita Eagle all-state teams as a junior and honored with a first team selection to each team as a senior... Named all-state in volleyball and twice qualified for the state track meet in the 4x800 relay... A two-time selection to the KBCA all-state team... Named to the Superintendent’s Honor Roll all four years of high school... Named a Kansas Honor Scholar and was an academic all-TVL selection... Graduated as class salutatorian with a 3.98 GPA.
