2022-23 (Redshirt-Freshman): Indoor – Competed in five meets, completing three heptathlons…Recorded a season-best 4,814 points to place third at the Shocker Multi with the second-best pole vault clearance, a season-best 4.55m/14’11”…Jumped his best long jump mark in the Lindeman Invitational heptathlon, leaping 6.35m/20’10”…Scored two points for the team at the AAC Indoor Championships with a seventh-place finish and a total of 4,540 points.
Outdoor – Competed in six meets, completing two decathlons…Cleared a season-best 4.46m/14’7.5” in the pole vault at the conference meet, placing 12
th…Just missed scoring in the decathlon at the AAC Outdoor Championships, placing ninth with a season-best 6,106 points, running the third fastest 1500 meters in 4:39.18 to wrap up the event.
2021-22 (Freshman): Indoor - Did not compete in a Shocker uniform.
Outdoor – Competed unattached in three meets…Competed in six different events…Placed 13
th in the 400 meters at the ESU Spring Invitational…Jumped 4.35m/14’3.25” in the pole vault to finish 15
th at the KT Woodman Classic.
High School: 9x first team all-conference … Sectional champion and state qualifier in the pole vault … Also earned first-team all-conference honors in cross country as a sophomore … Also played soccer and club volleyball … Participated in student council, theater, marching/concert band and choir.
Personal: Son of Cynthia and Bill … Has two sisters, Brittany and Brigit, and one brother, Billy … Mom played basketball at Graceland University … Dad played volleyball for Iowa State … Brother pole vaulted for Johnson County CC and Central Missouri … Sister Brittany pole vaulted for Missouri S&T … Plans to major in exercise science.
