2016: Indoor- Placed for the Shockers in the Heptathlon and the Pole Vault at the MVC Championship... Was fourth in the Heptathlon with 5,005 points... Was eighth in the pole vault with a height of 16-1.25/4.91m... Vaulted a career-best 16-6.75/5.05m at the Air Force Team Challenge, which is the 12th-best in WSU history... Outdoor: Outdoor best was 16-1.25/4.91m at the Shocker Open... Did not compete at the MVC Championship.
Kansas State (Fall, 2014):Â Worked out with the team before transferring to WSU at the semester.
Butler County CC (Freshman):Â Competed as a freshman at Butler County Community College in the pole vault, 100 meter, 4x400 meter relay.
High School:Â Lettered in football three years, basketball one year and track and field four years at Rose Hill high School... Was All-State and All-Metro kicker on the football team and was fourth in the pole vault at State as a junior in 2011 and fifth as a senior in 2012... Helped his track team to a fourth-place finish at the 2011 State meet.
Personal:Â Son of Charles and Marilyn Knight... Born March 18, 1994 in Rose Hill, Kan... Mom played softball at Butler CC and dad played football at Newman... Has a sister, Jamie Brazda... Majoring in mechanical engineering at WSU... Personal best in pole vault heading into WSU was 15-6.
