2014 (Junior): Indoor- Recorded top three finishes at four different meets in the pole vault... Began the season with a second place finish at the Herm Wilson Invitational with a vault of 11-7"... Set her best indoor mark at the Air Force Indoor Team Challenge with a vault of 12-5 1/2", which placed her in second for the meet. Outdoor- Had top 10 finishes in the pole vault at the ESU Spring Open, Ward Haylett Invitational and KSU Wildcat Open.
2013 (Sophomore): Indoor- Shattered her personal record with a vault of 12-1 ½ at the Air Force Team Challenge, the seventh highest vault in school history. Scored points for the Shockers with a 5th place performance at the MVC Indoor Championships. Won the pole vault at the KSU Open by clearing the bar at 11-9 3/4. Outdoor: Vaulted a personal best of 12-2 ¾ to finish eighth at the Missouri Valley Conference Outdoor Championships. Posted the ninth highest vault in Shocker history at the MVC meet. Placed third in the pole vault at the ESU Midweek Open (10-10 ¾).
2012 (Freshman): Indoor - Pole vaulted in seven meets for the Shockers...Posted a season-best mark of 11-5 1/4 at the MVC Indoor Championships for eighth place...Outdoor - Pole vaulted in seven meets for WSU...Top mark of the season came during the MVC Outdoor Championships for a sixth-place finish (11-9).
High School: Lettered four years in track and field and volleyball, and three years in basketball at Fillmore Central High School in Geneva, Neb... High school best in the pole vault was 11-4... Helped her teams to the State Championship in track and field her senior season and conference titles all four years... Named junior and senior Athlete of the Year... Named first-team all-league in volleyball, NSAA Academic All-State in Track and Field and Lincoln Journal Star Academic All-State in Track and Field... Was in National Honor Society, and in the Top 10 percent.
Personal: Born Feb. 1, 1993 in York, Neb...Daughter of Glen and Lori Loontjer...Has a brother, Tyler... Dad competed in the pole vault at the University of Nebraska under Coach Steve Rainbolt.
