2017-18: Did not compete.
2016-17: Indoor – Won the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.37 at the Steve Miller Open...Ran a personal best 8.09 in the 60m hurdles in the prelims at the MVC Indoor Championships.
Outdoor – Injured and did not compete.
2015-16: Indoor - Placed 10th for WSU in the 60 meter hurdles in a time of 8.20 at the MVC Championship.
Outdoor - Qualified for the NCAA West Prelims in the 110 meter hurdles and placed 36th...Was seventh at the MVC Outdoor Championship in the 110 meter hurdles.
2014-15: Indoor- His 8.11 time in the 60m hurdles at the UNI Team Invitational was the ninth best in the Valley and fifth-best at WSU... Was 13th in the MVC Championship in the 60m hurdles... Helped the DMR finish sixth at the MVC Championship... Won the 60 meter hurdles at the KSU Open in a time of 8.19.
Outdoor- Placed eighth at the MVC Championship in the 110 meter hurdles (and seventh in the 400 meter hurdles (55.38).
2013-14: Ran in one meet, the ESU Spring Open... His times were 16.24 (14.96w) in the 110 hurdles and 58.14 in the 400 hurdles.
High School: Lettered in track and field four years at Granite Hills high School in El Cajon, Calif… League champion in 110m high hurdles and 300m hurdles sophomore and junior years… Voted Grossmont Union Athlete of the Year... High School personal bests include: 14.34 in the 110h, and 38.50 in the 300h.
Personal: Son of Andrew and Jody James...Has two brothers, Joshua and Jordan, and a sister, Ashley... Also recruited by Nebraska... Majoring in marketing.
