Career and Season Results
2024-25 (Sophomore): Indoor – Competed in six meets, including two heptathlons…Ran on the winning distance medley relay at the Ichabod Invitational…Took second in the open pole vault at the Ichabod Invitational with a clearance of 4.45m/14’7.25”…Placed seventh in the heptathlon at the AAC Indoor Championships, scoring two points for the team.
Outdoor – Competed in seven meets…Cleared a season-best 4.57m/15’0” to take second in the open pole vault at the KT Woodman Classic…Took sixth in the decathlon at the AAC Outdoor Championships, recording the third-best long jump and pole vault marks, to score three points for the team.
2022-23 (Freshman at Oklahoma State): Outdoor – Threw discus and javelin at one meet, recording marks of 32.94m/108’1” and 48.97m/160’8”, respectively.
High School: Competed for Wylie High School…Lettered four years in track and field and two in football… Was also honored on the Second Team All-District as a safety.
Personal: Son of Jill and Darron…Has two siblings, Hylan and Harrison…Says it took him falling on the seventh hurdles at the regional meet to realize he wanted to compete in the decathlon at the college level…Outside of track and field, enjoys playing pickleball…Majoring in mechanical engineering.
