2024 (Junior): Indoor – Competed in eight meets, winning the weight throw at both the Friends First Chance meet and the Wilson Invitational…Placed second at the KU-KSU-WSU Triangular with a throw of 15.76m/51’8.5”…Threw a season-best 17.44m/57’2.75” to take sixth at the AAC Indoor Championships and score three points for the team.
Outdoor – Threw the hammer in seven meets, winning the event at the Friends Spring Open and taking second at the KT Woodman Classic…Threw a season-best 58.21m/191’0” to take fourth at the AAC Outdoor Championships, scoring five points for the team.
2023 (Sophomore): Indoor – Competed in seven meets…Threw 15.25m/50’0.5” in the weight throw at the Lindeman Invitational…Finished fourth in the weight throw at the KU-KSU-WSU Triangular…Scored three points at the AAC Indoor Championships, placing sixth in the weight throw with a season-best 15.82m/51’11”.
Outdoor – Competed in seven meets…Won the hammer throw at the Shocker Spring Invitational and the Shocker Open…Threw a season-best 56.55m/185’6” at the AAC Outdoor Championships to place second, earn all-conference recognition and score eight points towards the Shockers’ second-straight team title.
2022 (Freshman II): Indoor – Competed in the weight throw in six meets…Placed fourth at the Shocker Prelude…Recorded a season-best 14.11m/46’3.5” at the Herm Wilson Invitational to place sixth.
Outdoor – Steadily improved in the hammer throughout the outdoor season…Made finals at the AAC Outdoor Championships, recording a personal best 49.39m/162’0” to place ninth…Also threw discus in two meets and placed second in the shot put at the Shocker Open.
2021 (Freshman): Indoor – Threw in six events at four meets … Had five top-10 finishes … Had a season-best throw in the weight throw at the Herm Wilson Invitational with a mark of 13.59m/44-7 … Finished sixth with a season-best throw of 11.64m/38-2.25 in the shot put at the Herm Wilson Invitational.
Outdoor – Threw the hammer throw three times … Finished third at the Shocker Open … Threw his season’s best mark in the hammer throw at the Shocker Open with a toss of 49.69m/163-0.
High School: Finished ninth at the 2019 KSHSAA State Track and Field Championships in the shot put … Won five events during the 2019 outdoor season, including three hammer throw events in three tries … Competed at the 2020 NSAFx AthleticNET Virtual Nationals … Also competed in 2020 at the Great Southwest Classic and finished as the runner-up in the hammer throw … Holds Andale HS’ junior record for the hammer throw … Helped his team win a team state title in 2019 … Also played football in high school and helped Andale win a state title in 2019 … Was a second-team All-District offensive lineman and first team All-District defensive player … His brother, Aidan, also threw for the Wichita State track and field team … Plans to study Finance at Wichita State.
